Summer Camp
We were thrilled to host our fourth Summer Camp here in Bath in 2020. Given the pandemic it was only for our club members this year but they enjoyed three days of training at the University of Bath - a great achievement given restrictions - well done team!
In 2019 we added one extra training day as requested for the higher level group and many more activities and experts attended.
What we did
5 days of swimming and artistic development
International coaches
Water and land time each day
Strength and Conditioning coaching, Cross-over training with rhythmic gymnastics, yoga, contemporary dance
Nutrition and sports psychology talks with top experts in elite level training
Land sessions on music interpretation, synchro styles and breathing control
Who took part?
Any swimmer who had achieved Grade 2 Figures by July 2019 could attend the full camp.
A Novice day for those newer to synchro was held on the last day.
Masters were welcome to attend the full camp.
Coaches bringing their swimmers or who wished to attend independently to learn.
Accommodation
Residential swimmers stayed in The Quads on the University of Bath campus this year with meals on site
